FEUD BETWEEN WIZKID AND SEUN KUTI RAGES ON

The video of Seun Kuti assaulting a police officer in Lagos has resurfaced online. Suspected to be shared by Wizkid fans, the redistribution of the video on social media has reinforced the developing feud between Seun and Wizzy over the status of Wizzy compared to Seuns father the legendary Fela Anikulapokuti.

In a series of videos shared on his social media handles Seun Kuti had quickly debunked claims by Wizkid and his fans that Wizkid was greater than Seuns father Fela. But following the distribution of the video of Seun assaulting a police officer recently fans are even claiming that Wizkid has even done worse than that in the past.

The feud has become even more person with mudslinging involving direct exchange of words between the two feuding parties. With Wizkid calling Seun’s  wife ugly and Seun Kuti calling Wizkid’s wife a 43 year old sick woman.

Burna Boy Enters the Quarel

But 2021 Grammy Award winning artist Burna Boy has officially declared that FELA is the Greatest Afro beats artiste dead or alive. Saying that Fela is the ONLY African artiste above him. He said that there is no blaming those kids that are claiming Wizkid is better than Fela because they are just between 29 to 30 years old and did not experience the legends era. Fela even died before they were born. He said most of those kids have experienced more of Wizkid, Davido and Burna than FELA and can’t talk about what they don’t know .

FELA is the creator of Afro beats, was an activist who used his music to fight against the Nigerian military dictators and apartheid in South Africa. Fela created a music genre that a whole generation is now using to buy houses in and out of Nigeria. Fela is known to have produced over 59 albums.
